Students enjoyed a great day orienteering in Donadea forest. It was very interesting to read maps and work as a team. Thanks to Mr Mann, Ms O'Malley, Ms Sexton, Ms Higgins and Ms Scully for helping to make this such fun!
We were delighted to welcome cyclists participating in the Big Blue Box Irish Heart Foundation Cycle. We dance with John, cycled with Steve and enjoyed the set dancing and tea! Thanks to everyone who donated for this very worthy cause. we are delighted to say that Bank of Ireland will match every euro raised!
Pat McNealy from Bayside Services presented a fantastic workshop on road safety entitled 'Drive for Life'. We have learned so much about keeping ourselves and others safe on the road. Thank you Pat and to Declan Keogh of Kildare County Council for sponsoring one of our sessions.
We are delighted to welcome Stephen Murray once again to CPC for two amazing poetry filled days. We have enjoyed every moment of this inspiring workshop and surprised ourselves with the quality of poetry we produced with Stephen's help.

Thanks to David Nolan of HPA for very interesting and informative workshops on Health and Fitness. David explained how to effectively nourish our bodies while tackling many myths around health and fitness. We all really enjoyed the sessions and are glad to be better informed about our health.
We were delighted to welcome the TY students for 2016/17 on Thursday 1st September. Our induction day involved meeting our new classmates, selecting new subjects and team building activities. An enjoyable and interesting day!
