Apply now for Engineering Your Future 2018 Applications are now being accepted for Engineering Your Future - a week-long, hands-on programme designed to introduce Transition Year students to the exciting and diverse world of engineering. The programme, supported by STEPS at Engineers Ireland and Science Foundation Ireland, will be hosted by a number of third-level institutes around the country in April/May 2018, including:
Interested students must fill in an application form and, if accepted, agree to pay a fee to take part. (Fees are waived for students attending DEIS schools.) Note that the application process is competitive and not all students will secure a place, unfortunately.Applications will remain open until 4th March. Our TY Students enjoyed a great day at the Leaders on our Level Conference organised by Terenure College, supported by AIB in the National Conference Centre Dublin on Friday 2nd February. A fantastic line up of speakers including Fr. Peter McVery, Mark Pollock, Anne Cassin, Professor Donal O'Shea, Triona Ferriter (AIB) and Mary Rose Burke CEO of Dublin Chamber of Commerce shared their experiences and gave advice on Leadership. Students were encouraged to ask questions and CPC was ably represented by Tia Boyd Burke and Kayla Swaine. It was an inspiring day and enjoyed by all.
We look forward to attending "Leaders on our Level" conference in the National Conference Centre tomorrow, Friday 2nd February. It is organised by Terenure College and is supported by AIB. Speakers include Fr Peter McVery, Anne Cassin, RTE, Mark Pollock and Professor Donal O'Shea. It promises to be an inspiring and interesting event. Buses depart from CPC at 7.30am, Wear FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM and bring a packed lunch. We hope to return to CPC by approximately 4pm
